Large vehicles are highly prone to tail swing incidents, particularly those with a long overhang behind the rear wheels. This is why our engineers have developed our industry leading tail swing protection system, the first system of this type available today. Our system senses any obstacles that may be in the path of your vehicle’s rapidly accelerating tail section and alerts the driver before an incident arises.
Developed by our in-house R&D division, our pioneering Tail Swing Proximity Sensor systems utilise the most advanced ultrasonic asymmetric sensing technology currently available. This technology detects at a market-leading angle of 160 degrees horizontally and 60 degrees vertically, covering a far greater area than conventional systems without leaving any blind spots
The intelligent software provides unparalleled accuracy in detecting narrow and round objects and also performs a self-diagnostic test on all of the sensors each time the ignition is switched on, alerting the driver to any malfunction. In addition, the system requires no driver input as it is activated or deactivated as the truck powers on or off.
Our speed-sensitive and GPS technology also ensure it will only activate during turning manoeuvres to avoid unnecessary distraction to your drivers.
