Thanks to our innovative and state-of-the-art X-Wire Technology, no extra cabling is required meaning our four-sensor rear system can be installed in as little as a quarter of the time it takes to fit a conventional system This ensures that your vehicles can be back on the road earning in next to no time.
Developed by our in-house R&D division, our pioneering Rear Proximity Sensor systems utilise the most advanced ultrasonic asymmetric sensing technology currently available. This technology detects at a market-leading angle of 160 degrees horizontally and 60 degrees vertically, covering a far greater area than conventional systems and without leaving any blind spots.
The intelligent software provides unparalleled accuracy in detecting narrow and round objects and also performs a self-diagnostic test on all of the sensors each time the ignition is switched on, alerting the driver to any malfunction. The driver will only be alerted when something or someone enters the detection zone of the proximity sensors, allowing them to keep their mind and eyes on the road at all times. In addition, the system requires no driver input and is simply activated or deactivated when a driver goes in or out of reverse.
The X-Wire system works with trucks and drawbar combinations and is compliant with FORS, CLOCS, and DVS for your fleet’s safety both onsite and on the road.
